Nancy Cam-Nhung Duong 1972-2024
BOARDMAN — Nancy Cam-Nhung Duong, 51, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Nancy was born Oct. 16, 1972, in Saigon, Vietnam, to the late Khanh Duong and Khiem Tran. She emmigrated to the Youngstown area in 2018, bringing with her a rich cultural heritage and a passion for cooking.
As the owner and operator of Pho LV Restaurant in Boardman, Nancy shared her culinary talents and love for Vietnamese cuisine with the community. Her restaurant became a beloved local spot, known for its warm atmosphere and delicious food.
A devout Catholic, Nancy faithfully attended St. Charles Church weekly. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and comfort.
Nancy will be remembered for her big heart and generosity. She had a vibrant social life, cherishing time spent with friends and family. Her presence lit up every family gathering, and she truly enjoyed the joy and togetherness of family parties.
Nancy is survived by her son, Long Phi Huynh of Boston, Massachusetts; her daughter, My-Van Thi Huynh of Boardman; two grandchildren, Sang and Dat; seven siblings, Xuan Duong, Maria Nguyen (Joseph Nguyen), Que Duong (Thi Tran), Quang Duong (Man Pham), Phuong Duong, Vinh Duong and Phat Duong (Hang Ho); several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.
Family and friends may call 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a funeral service will take place at 5 p.m.
Nancy’s legacy of love, generosity and culinary excellence will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, Nancy’s family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kinnick Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
