Betty graduated from Campbell Memorial High School in 1952 and began a career with Blue Cross Blue Shield prior to becoming a devoted mother and wife to her family.

Betty is reunited with the love of her life, her late husband Charles Koulianos Sr., who passed away Sept. 13, 2020. Betty and Charles were married Jan. 15, 1955, and were blessed to spend 65 years together creating a beautiful life and family together.

Betty will be deeply missed and her memory will be cherished by her children, Charlie Koulianos Jr. of Campbell, Steven “Stamati” Koulianos, also of Campbell, and John “Yianni” (Susan) Koulianos of Canfield; grandchildren, Charlie (Joey) Koulianos, George Koulianos, Jonathan Koulianos and Katie Koulianos; great-grandchildren, Markella Koulianos, Fotios Koulianos and Anna Maria Koulianos; and daughter-in-law, Anna Koulianos of Austintown. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and godchildren whom she loves very deeply.

Besides her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by sisters, Virgina Halkitis, Mary Wasko and Irene Lyras; and brother, John Kotis.

Betty was a beloved servant to not only her family, but God, and her beloved Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Campbell. Betty devoted over 40 years of service to her church and was a pillar in the Campbell Greek community. She served as president of the Ladies Philoptochos Society for many years at Archangel Michael. She also served as a member of the Women’s Kalymnian Society. Betty was a recipient of the St. Photios Award in 2015, which goes to a dedicated servant of God who has given so much of their life to their church, parish, faith and to Christ.

Betty enjoyed attending various church events, her children and grandchildren’s sporting events growing up, and most importantly, attending her weekly appointment at Paulette’s Hair-A-Cey beauty salon, where she enjoyed getting her hair and nails done. Many will miss seeing Betty at church functions, parties, festivals and family gatherings. Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
