Charles Edward Reigrut Sr. 1948-2024
BOARDMAN — Charles Edward “Chuck” Reigrut Sr., 75, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, Nov. 11, 2024.
Chuck was born Nov. 24, 1948, in Youngstown, to the late George and Catherine T. Matasek Reigrut. Chuck was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and received an associate degree in business from Youngstown State University. He married his wife, Mary Ruth Eich, on Nov. 11, 1972, and raised his family in Youngstown.
Chuck served in Vietnam as a Marine and worked for 45 years at General Motors in Lordstown. Besides his grandchildren, he enjoyed fishing and feeding the birds.
Chuck is survived by his wife. Mary Ruth; and his five children, Cristan (William Spranz), Charles E. Jr. (Elizabeth), Joseph (Carol), Timothy (Emily) and Jeffrey. He was a devoted brother to Daniel and Georgia; beloved grandfather to Charlie, Zac, Kenny, Hailey, Joey, George, Matthew and Timmy; cherished brother-in-law to several brothers- and sisters-in-law; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his in-laws, Frank and Ruth Eich; and his brothers, James and Lawrence Reigrut.
Family and friends are invited to visit 9:45 to 11:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at noon, celebrated by the Very Rev. John Sheridan.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
