Donald P. Vesey 1958-2024

Donald was born and raised in Salem and was the son of Floyd and Dorothea Vesey.

He was a graduate of West Branch High School. He retired after working for 15 years as an information services IT manager for Akrochem Corporation in Fairlawn.

Don attended St. Mark Lutheran Church in Tallmadge. His hobbies included collecting model trains, sci-fi models and enjoying family vacations.

To cherish his memories Don leaves his wife, Shirley; his children, Steven (Tori) Vesey and Kelly (Donald) Koehler; his granddaughter, Kara Vesey; and a brother, Lee Vesey.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

The family will receive relatives and friends 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, at Shiloh Full Gospel Church, 1310 Shannon Road, Girard, OH 44420.

A celebration of life, officiated by Pastor Wade Hartzell Sr., will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation. To share thoughts of sympathy, visit lanefuneralhomes.com.
