Juanita Engstrom 1924-2024

Juanita was born July 2, 1924, in Stacy Fork, Kentucky, a daughter of Daniel Boone and Virginia Mae Stacy Wills.

She was a member of Victory Church in Coitsville. Juanita loved the Lord and was a great prayer warrior for her family.

Juanita enjoyed cooking, baking and growing flowers, especially her rose gardens.

Her husband, Wendall Ray Engstrom, whom she married April 10, 1941, passed away March 3, 1982.

Juanita will be sadly missed by her family: her children, Diane Sue Kemp of Hubbard, Dennis (Cindy) Engstrom of Pennsylvania and Darlene (Tom) Huber of Hubbard; and eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Donald Engstrom; grandchildren, Douglas Engstrom and Scott Hetric; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Redmond and Rachel Vitto; two sisters and five brothers.

There will be services 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, with calling hours 10 to 11 a.m., at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

Juanita will be laid to rest next to her husband in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
