Linda L. Schrader 1948-2024

She was born Feb. 28, 1948, in Youngstown, a daughter of Lester and Florence Crownover Deal.

Linda was raised in Pulaski, Pa., and attended Mohawk High School. In her adult life she worked as a housekeeper for Briarfield Manor Nursing Center in Austintown for many years, prior to retiring.

She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, listening to music and relaxing on her front porch. She was also an avid camper and Cleveland Browns fan.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Loretta Opencar of Youngstown and Stacy Schrader of Struthers. She also leaves behind a brother, Glenn Deal; three sisters, Katherine (Pete) Ruozzo, Teddie (John) Forgach and Jeanette (Mike) Annibella; four granddaughters, Alexa, Taylor, Lucia and Madison; two great-granddaughters, Elia and Sofia; and her two fur babies, Squeaky and Jake.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Schrader, who died Oct. 3, 1980; her parents; two brothers, Lester and Lonnie Deal; and two sisters; Deborah Barnett and Darla Johnson.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral services or calling hours.

Arrangements for Mrs. Schrader are being provided by the Lane Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel, 1350 N. Canfield Niles Road, Mineral Ridge.
