Robert E. Caldwell 1929-2024

Robert was born June 4, 1929, in Hickory, Pa., a son of Elmer William and Evelyn Morton Caldwell.

He was a 1948 graduate of Farrell High School.

Robert was a laborer and worked in the shipping department for 42 years at Saw Hill Tubular, retiring in 1994.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, swimming at the Hubbard Pool, bowling and sports, and was a Hubbard football fan and always looked forward to attending their games.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Robert will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family: his wife, the former Mae Kalchthaler, whom he married April 27, 1957; his children, Sheila (Vincent) Donnelly of Stoutsville, Diane (Ron) Perry of Hubbard, Robert (Darla) Caldwell of Toronto, Ohio, and Thomas Caldwell of Masury; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
