He was born in Youngstown in 1948 and graduated from Ursuline High School in 1966. He received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Youngstown State University in 1971.

He worked as a computer programmer for EDS and then as a specialist for Hewlett-Packard, where he traveled around the world working with various programming teams.

Ron had a real knack in the kitchen and loved cooking and sharing recipes. He was known for making his delicious pizza and biscotti, while also making a huge mess.

Ron was a devoted Catholic and his strong faith was expressed daily. He showed us what it meant to walk in faith, to love with kindness and to forgive with grace. Ron was a true family man and always took great care of his loved ones.

Ron is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lois, of Poland; his brother, Ernie of St. Cloud, Florida; sisters, Lorraine (Ron) of Pueblo, Colorado, Kathy (Steve) of Baltimore, Maryland, Kara (Tony) of Youngstown and Toni (Glenn) of Canfield.
