Shirley D. Tremba 1935-2024
WARREN — Shirley D. Tremba, 89, formerly of Hubbard, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, at Shepherd of the Valley.
Shirley was born May 25, 1935, in Rimersburg, Pa., a daughter of John Walter and Anna Mae Markle Crissman.
She was a teachers’ aide for Youngstown City School District for 45 years.
Shirley was a member of New Bedford Presbyterian Church and a former deacon.
She enjoyed reading, attending Bible study and church, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Shirley will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family, her husband, Ronald A. Tremba, whom she married Feb. 10, 1956; her children, Crystal (Robert) Kopas of Brookfield and Carrie (Mark) Treharn of Girard; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Randall) Burbick, Daniel Kopas, Dana (Manoli Kalouris) Kopas, Cory (Kelly) Treharn and Kelsie (Brad) Bee; and five great-grandchildren, Saphira, Mason, Maya, Noah and Lydia.
She also leaves her sister, Connie (James) McCullough of Rimersburg, Pa.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Whited; and brother, James Crissman.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, with calling hours 10 to 11 a.m., at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
Shirley will be laid to rest in Belmont Park Cemetery.
