Stephen J. Sipusic 1952-2024

Steve was born Oct. 8, 1952, in Youngstown, to Aloysius S. and Helen M. Sipusic.

He was a 1971 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, where he was a member of the football team. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and a two-year degree in computer science. He retired in 2013 from Youngstown Bankruptcy Court after working 23 years as an information technology specialist.

Steve loved traveling with his wife, Mary Lou. He also enjoyed fishing, whether it was on a charter with his dad or at Mosquito Creek Lake.

He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Cortland.

Steve will be deeply missed by his wife, Mary Lou Sena Sipusic, whom he married May 16, 1987. He is also survived by his sister, Janet (David) Rook of Hudson; his brother, Ronald (Patty) Sipusic of Champion; and three nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Cortland, with the Rev. Ryan Furlong officiating.
