Gloria M. Latessa 1930-2024

Gloria was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Youngstown, a daughter of Eugene and Anna Pavone DiGregorio.

She was a 1948 graduate of East High School and a graduate of cosmetology school.

Gloria was a licensed beautician for several years at Jet Carson Beauty Shop in Youngstown.

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Her husband, Rudy Latessa, whom she married Oct. 27, 1951, passed away Feb. 26, 1991.

She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family, including her children, Guy G. (Donna) Latessa of Howland, Kathleen (Randall) Antonucci of Hubbard, Christine Dravis of Liberty and Melissa Latessa (Jason Speer) of Advance, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Dravis, Gregory (Brittani) Latessa, Ryan Antonucci, Daniel (Victoria) Antonucci, and Jessica Dravis and fiance, Philip Faraglia; and eight great-grandchildren, Michael Rudy, Cameron, Santino, Mila, Alivia, Gia, Liberty and Lucciano.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, and brothers, Edward DiGregorio and Art DiGregorio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., with calling hours 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Monsignor Michael J.Cariglio Jr. officiating.

Gloria will be laid to rest in Belmont Park Cemetery.
