James F. Tovtin Jr. 1953-2024

Jim was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Youngstown, the son of the late James F. Tovtin Sr. and Theresa Tovtin. He was a 1971 graduate of Poland Seminary High School.

Jim worked as a welder for General Motors Lordstown for 30 years before retiring in 2010.

He was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Ann, whom he married April 24, 1976; his sons, Bradley (Kim) and Brian (Kristin) Tovtin; his daughter, Brittany (Marco) Raimondo; his sister, Paula (Joe) Silvashy; and his six grandchildren, Braden, Logan, Hudson, Grayson, Avery and Everly.

Per Jim’s wishes, private services were held.
