RALEIGH, N.C. — Patrick John Crosbie, 73, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2024, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. His daughter was by his side during his final moments.
Originally from Lewis Center, Delaware County, Ohio, Pat was a longtime resident of Howland. He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in chemical engineering and dedicated over three decades of his career to Delphi Automotive as an engineering manager.
At the same time, Pat was a committed father to his three children. An avid supporter of his children, Pat loved watching them play sports and even took on the role of coach. He created lasting memories with his children and friends, whether it was boating, camping or hitting the dirt bike trails.
A man who lived life authentically and on his own terms, Pat had a knack for bringing joy and laughter to those he met. He was known for being hardworking and practical. He would always speak well of others and was willing to help those around him.
Outside of work, Pat enjoyed spending time in his RV, riding his motorcycle, biking on the greenways, going to the YMCA and pursuing various home improvement projects for both himself and his children.
Pat is survived by his three children, Daniel Crosbie of Columbus, Amanda Nishawala of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Christopher Crosbie of Ridgewood, New Jersey; and the mother of his children, Janice Crosbie of Columbus. He also leaves behind five grandchildren who will miss him, Luma, Arlo, Mischa, Remy and Adrian.
