William P. DeLullo Sr. 1940-2024
CANFIELD — William P. DeLullo Sr., 83, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Windsor House in Canfield.
Born Dec. 20, 1940, in Youngstown, he was a son of the late James and Julia Gliemmo DeLullo.
Bill was a 1958 graduate of Lowellville High School. He graduated and earned his certificate from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in 1962. He worked for many years in the electrical business until his retirement in 2014.
On June 2, 1962, William married the love of his life, the former Nina Buffone. The two shared 62 beautiful years of marriage. They welcomed their four children and were later blessed with seven grandchildren.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working on antique cars and attending car shows. Never one to sit still, you would often find Bill working on his many home improvement projects and in his garage.
Above all, Bill cherished his moments of being a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his loving wife, Nina, he is survived by his four children, William P. (Michelle) DeLullo Jr. of Canfield, Joseph David (Robin) DeLullo of Boardman, James Anthony (Christy) DeLullo of Erie, Pa., and Tracy Ann Roman of Canfield; and seven grandchildren, Dante, Juliana, Braden, Gianna, Luke, Ava and Christian.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother, Mary Jane, Elizabeth and John.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, and 9:15 until the time of prayer service at 10:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland, OH 44514.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 131 E. Wood St., Lowellville, OH 44436.
Burial will follow in Poland Riverside Cemetery.
