Brian J. Romano 1963-2025

Born July 7, 1963, in New Castle, Brian was the son of the late Joseph L. Romano Sr. His mother, Barbara Flynn Romano, survives.

Brian earned a bachelor’s degree at Youngstown State University. He then went on to work as an IT specialist for Mt. Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

He was a member of the former St. Lawrence Church.

Brian was an avid Star Wars fan. He also enjoyed doing research into family members who had served in World War II. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Brian is survived by his brother, Joseph Jr.; three sisters, Lorraine Romano, Cindy Terrell and Valerie (Doug) Hoover; his nephew, James (Laura) Hoyland; his niece, Catherine Hoover; and four great-nieces and -nephews, Alessandra, Eliana, James Jr. and Jeffrey.

In addition to his father, Brian was preceded in death by his infant sister, Elaine Romano.

Honoring his wishes, services are private at Holy Spirit Parish-St. Mary Church. Fr. Benjamin Barr will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
