Jeffrey J. Truran 1979-2025
INDIANAPOLIS — Jeffrey James Truran passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.
Born May 15, 1979, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories.
A devoted father, son, sibling and companion, Jeffrey was known for his undeniable spirit and his ability to light up any room with his humor and zest for life.
Jeffrey’s love for celebration was most evident every Fourth of July, a holiday he made unforgettable for his family and friends with his dazzling firework displays. His joy in bringing people together will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Truran, who was the light of his life; his beloved mother, Kathleen Morrison; father, John Truran (Debra); his admiring sisters, Jennifer (Christopher) Villavaso and Genevieve Morrison; his adoring nieces, Juliana and Sophia Edmondson; and his loving companion, Donna Weiss. He also leaves to remember him, his aunt, Karen (Joe) Gatelaro; uncle, Jim Romandetti; and a cousin, Joe Gatelaro.
Jeffrey’s kindness, compassion and easygoing nature left an indelible mark on all who knew him. A man of remarkable intellect, he had a genius mind, paired with a heart full of generosity and warmth.
Jeffrey’s family and friends will remember him for the joy he brought into their lives, his contagious laughter and his unwavering ability to make everyone feel loved. He will forever remain in their hearts.
A gathering of family and friends will take place 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at Nativity Catholic Church, 7225 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46239.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m.
