June E. Siciliano 1935-2025
HUBBARD — June E. Siciliano, 89, formerly of School Street in Hubbard, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, Jan. 9, 2025, at Assumption Village in North Lima.
June was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl Moore Rogenski. She was a lifelong resident of the area, dedicated to her family, friends and community.
June graduated from Howland High School in 1953 and went on to have a fulfilling career at JCPenney, working for 30 years, first in Liberty Plaza and later in Niles.
She enjoyed line dancing and drawing and was happiest when she could be out and about, spending time with family and friends.
June is survived by her son, Kent Siciliano of McDonald; two grandchildren, Breen (Carissa Williamson) Siciliano and Katie (Steven) Clark; three great-grandchildren, Harper, Jett and Chandler Nicole; two sisters, Mary Pesa of Youngstown and Rose (Patrick) Marciano of Poland; her brother, Stanley Rogenski Jr. of Leavittsburg; her sister-in-law, Gloria Jean Rogenski of Youngstown; and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Her husband, Richard Siciliano, whom she married Feb. 14, 1957, passed away Feb. 22, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her son, Dean Siciliano; a sister, Judith Ann Kuntz; a brother, Walter Rogenski; and a brother-in-law, Mario Pesa.
Family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 222 S. State St., Girard, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, where June will be laid to rest beside her husband.
