Leanna Ilene Felger 1944-2025

She was a 1963 graduate of Springfield High School. She remained in the Springfield area with her family and eventually married her husband, Robert Felger, on Nov. 22, 1978, moving to Poland.

Leanna, better known by her middle name, Ilene, enjoyed traveling with her husband, becoming permanent snowbirds in Florida until moving back to the Youngstown area in 2008. She also enjoyed camping, going to Disney World, going on cruises, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert Felger; her two children, Kim (Brian) Fullerman of Struthers and Dave (Tracy) Hoffman of Poland; four grandchildren, Brittany {Samuel) Chapella of Petersburg, Brianna Hoffman of Boardman, Brooke Hoffman of Liberty and Alexa Fullerman of Struthers; great-grandson, Ronnie (Seymour) Snyder; four stepsons, Randy, Bill, Jimmy, and Norman; and seven grand-stepchildren and their children. Ilene also leaves behind her beloved cat, Suzie.

Ilene was preceded in death by her mother and father, George and Helen Bensky; her brother, Richard Bensky; and her twin brother, Alan Bensky.

Most days Ilene could be found watching “The Young and the Restless,” doing crossword puzzles, eating cookies and candy, and bird watching out of her window, and always had her signature peppermint in her mouth. She will be greatly missed by her family.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for all of their care during this time.
