Margaret Herzick 1926-2025

Margaret was born Oct. 2, 1926, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Herzich.

Margaret graduated from Wilson High School. She went on to work at JCPenney for many years in multiple sales support positions, starting in the Boardman Plaza and moving to the new Southern Park Mall store when it opened. Her positions included merchandise records, invoicing, sales audit and more. Prior to her retirement, she held the position of office manager in one of the top 10 largest stores in the JCPenney organization. After retirement, she was an active member of the local JCPenney Retiree Club.

Throughout her life, Margaret enjoyed meeting new people, gifting her family and friends, and maintaining an active correspondence with people around the country.

She leaves a sister, Caroline Rudnicki of Austintown, as well as beloved nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Ann Scott and Dorothy Wilson; and brothers, Steve Herzick and Nicholas Herzick.

Family and friends may call 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, OH 44515.
