Mary D. Keightly 1931-2025

She was born May 13, 1931, in Duquesne, Pa., to Andrew A. and Maria Beres.

Mary was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church when the family moved to Youngstown. She attended St. Michael Parish in Canfield.

Mary enjoyed traveling over the years and visited 27 countries with her husband, James Sloan Keightly, whom she married Oct. 14, 1967, in New Hope, Pa.

She leaves behind her niece, Jan Vidis of Cypress, Texas; two additional nieces, Linda and Marina Julian; and a nephew, Scott Julian.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Anne Marie Vidis, Helen D’Angelo and Margaret Julian; a nephew, Sammy D’Angelo; and by her loving husband James of 24 years.

There will be no calling hours or services.

Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home handled the arrangements for the family.
