Nancy H. Frederick 1938-2025

She was born June 15, 1938, in Gallipolis, a daughter of the late George W. “Thuse” and Claire G. “Babe” Dale Hamilton.

A proud graduate of Gallia Academy High School, Nancy pursued her education at Columbus Business University. She began her career as an executive secretary for the head of the state’s appraisal department in Columbus.

Nancy was a secretary at the family business, Frederick Dodge in Canfield, before starting her family. After raising her children, she went back to work part-time at Frederick Dodge in Boardman. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing, boating, traveling with her family, playing bridge with friends, and spending summer weekends at Lake Erie with family and friends. Throughout her life, her primary focus remained on nurturing her family and ensuring their happiness.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Robert L. Frederick, whom she married April 10, 1960; their two beloved children, Robin D. Frederick of Boardman and Robert L. (Stacy Kello) Frederick II of Canfield; her cherished granddaughter, Victoria K. Ramm of Lisbon, Portugal; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Craig of Gallipolis; and a niece and nephew, Lori Ann Russell and Sammy Hamilton.

Nancy was also preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Hamilton.

Per Nancy’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
