Ronald D. Moore 1958-2025
STRUTHERS — Ronald Dale Moore, 67, passed away peacefully, Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Jan. 3, 1958, Ron was the beloved son of George Moore and Rosemary McCullers, and grew up in Florida.
He joined the United States Army shortly after earning his high school degree.
Ron built a life defined by hard work, kindness and a deep love for his family. He was a mail handler at the United States Postal Service for 34 years, during which he worked tirelessly day in and day out to provide for his family.
Beyond his career, Ron was known for his love of the outdoors, including activities such as hunting and fishing. Above all, Ron was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Cindi Moore (Strobel); his three children, a daughter, Kaylee Moore, a son, Dalton Moore (Shannon), and a stepdaughter, Courtney Wolfcale; and his grandchildren, Brady, Dawson and Mia. He is also survived by many siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews whom he adored wholeheartedly. He cherished every moment with his family and left a legacy of unconditional love, wisdom and compassion.
Those who knew Ron will remember his unwavering generosity and his dedication to those he loved. He touched countless lives with his kindness and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers, followed by a prayer service. Family and friends are invited to come and share their memories.
