Teresa R. Innocenzi 1928-2025

Together Again

POLAND — Teresa Rose Innocenzi, 96, of Poland, passed away at her residence on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 16, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

She will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and humbleness. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.

Teresa was born May 26, 1928, in Youngstown, the daughter of Salvatore Dominic and Concetta Belasco Milione. She was proud to have grown up on the East Side of Youngstown and graduated from East High School.

Besides being a proud homemaker, Teresa was employed with Sparkle Markets in the deli department, spending most of her time at the Struthers location. She was a true matriarch for her family, and always made them her top priority. Teresa was an excellent cook and baker, and her family will miss all her fantastic dishes, especially her Italian specialties, along with all the wonderful cookies she baked, especially for the holidays.

Teresa was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, the Red Hat Society and Senior Follies line dancers. Teresa had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed exercising, walking with her neighbors in Poland, line dancing, and socializing with her family and friends.

Teresa married the love of her life, Frank Innocenzi Sr., on May 28, 1949 and they shared over 63 years of marriage until his passing on Aug. 11, 2012.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two children, Patti (Warren) Wilding of Canfield and Dr. Mark Innocenzi ( fiancee Therese Antonio) of Thousand Oaks, California; her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Innocenzi of Edinburg, Pa.; beloved four grandchildren, Anthony (Cindy) Innocenzi, Christopher (Erin) Innocenzi, Shannon (Robert Comstock) Stoykov and Jimmy (Nicole) Miller; her eight great-grandchildren whom she adored, Victoria (Harley) Horger, Frankie ( fiancee Kassie Stanley) Innocenzi, Vincent Innocenzi, Salvatore Innocenzi, Cadence Vargo, Brooke Miller, Logan Stoykov and Liam Stoykov; and two great-great grandchildren, AJ and Knox Horger; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Teresa was preceded in death by her son, Frank Innocenzi Jr.; two brothers, Tony and Jim Milione; and her two sisters, Antoinette King and Mary Thorpe.

Friends may call from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.

There will be a prayer service held at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio as celebrant.

Burial will take place in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Lowellville.
