Blanche L. Molnar 1927-2025

Together again
AUSTINTOWN — Blanche L. Molnar, 97, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at Austintown Healthcare Center.
Blanche was born on Aug. 18, 1927, in Youngstown, to the late Michael and Theresa Kovach.
She was a lifelong resident of Youngstown.
She graduated from Chaney High School in 1946. Shortly after, Blanche married the love of her life, Frank Molnar Jr., on Sept. 18, 1948. Together, they enjoyed traveling to Florida and other destinations.
She spent the majority of her career as an office clerk at Mahoning Valley Supply.
Blanche leaves behind her loving son, Frank Molnar III, his longtime companion Liz Kraynik, and adoring daughter, Terry (Bill) Kelly. She also leaves behind one grandson, Adam (Heather) Kelly, and two great-grandsons, Owen and Evan.
She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Theresa Kovach; her husband Frank Molnar Jr.; three sisters and two brothers.
Calling hours for Blanche will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel located at 4303 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, OH 44515.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Blanche, also known as Butch by some, was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her spirit will forever live on with those she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made out to the Hungarian Presbyterian Church located at 745 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, OH 44502.
