Bonnie R. George 1944-2025

POLAND — Bonnie Rose George, 80, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025, at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.
Bonnie was born June 15, 1944, in Youngstown, to the late Patrick and Irene Becker Moderalli. She was a 1962 graduate of Liberty High School and remained a devoted resident of the Mahoning Valley throughout her life.
She was a beloved homemaker and business owner of P&S Bakery Inc. for over 50 years, supporting her husband, David. As well as being dedicated to her family and friends, Bonnie and David sacrificed many times in their lives making sure that the bakery employees’ needs were looked after. She had a special gift for decorating her home and her baking was enjoyed by many. Bonnie was also an active member of small groups and a regular attendee of New Life Church in Poland, where she and her husband shared much of their financial blessings locally and globally with those in need.
Bonnie’s love for entertaining was evident, especially during the holidays, when she and her husband enjoyed welcoming family and friends into their home. When not baking, she delighted in shopping, giving many gifts to others. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the country with her husband and family, cherishing the time spent together.
Bonnie is survived by her devoted husband of 60-plus years, David F. George, whom she married Sept. 19, 1964. She is also survived by her three children, Davine M. (Bob) McPhail of Poland, David F. (Susan) George II of Poland and Christopher P.
