Diana Cremens 1950-2025

STRUTHERS — Diana Cremens, 74, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

Born Aug. 29, 1950, Diana was a 1968 graduate of Struthers High School. She went on to earn both an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University, where she graduated with honors.

Diana helped to break the glass ceiling by being the first female in management for the Woolco Department Store chain. She also managed the Youngstown Teachers Credit Union.

She was known for her infectious laugh and sense of humor, as well as for her love of dogs, often claiming she loved dogs more than she did most people. Diana, however, did love her family and friends and never missed a birthday or anniversary without sending a card, until illness wore her down.

Diana leaves a sister, Marybeth Myers of Cornersburg; nephew and godson, Kevin M (Jessica) Myers of Boardman and nephew, Brian C. (Molly) Myers of Canfield; niece, Jennifer R. (Fred) Demartinis of Hubbard; two goddaughters, Kathleen Seneca Sesito and Alexandra Anastis Nichols; great-nieces and great-nephews; and several cousins who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary Rouan Cremens; maternal grandparents, Anthony and Agnes Loftus Rouan; and paternal grandparents, William and Hazel Meehan Cremens.

Friends will be received 9:30 to 9:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at Christ Our Savior Parish- St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Struthers, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m.

She will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
