Joseph T. Balogh 1943-2025

Joseph was born April 10, 1943, in Youngstown, a son of his late mother, Stephanie Barwick, and stepfather, Phillip Roumnn.

He was a graduate of North High School and a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was an operating engineer and a precision crane operator for Local 66.

In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and shooting. He also enjoyed watching Western movies and reading Western novels.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Mary Helen Balogh; children, Glenn Balogh and Cindy (Michael) Rudinsky; and grandson, Noah Balogh.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Roumm.

Per Joseph’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted with Lane Funeral Homes-Madasz Chapel in Brookfield.
