Mark S. Sarisky 1959-2025

HUBBARD — Mark S. Sarisky, 65, passed away surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Mark was born Sept. 27, 1959, in Youngstown, a son of Raymond J. and Mary R. Scherer Sarisky. He was a 1977 graduate of Hubbard High School.

Mark recently retired in 2024 as the president and co-owner of Stewart Furniture Inc. in Hubbard, where he worked for 45 years.

He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

Mark had a special gift for creating masterpieces of all kinds and there was nothing that he could not fix. He loved to spend time outdoors gardening, doing yardwork, fishing, swimming and completing home improvement projects like no other. He also enjoyed watching and attending motorsport events and NASCAR, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing foosball.

Most notable was the unconditional love Mark had for his wife, children and grandchildren.

Mark will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family: his wife, the former Annette DePasquale, whom he married March 20, 1982; his children, Mark R. (Gabrielle) Sarisky of Canfield and Shannon M. (Chase) Regano of Boardman; and his grandchildren, Brynn, Hattie and Mckenna. He also leaves his siblings, Richard (Colleen) Sarisky of Hubbard, Paula Jones of Hubbard, Robin (Kathy) Sarisky of Hubbard, Sally (Jim) Severa of Liberty and Janice (Edward) Castner of Hubbard.

His parents preceded him in death.

There will be a memorial service 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, with calling hours 10 to 11 a.m., at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
