Pauline S. Williams 1942-2025
YOUNGSTOWN — Pauline S. Williams, 82, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at Continuing Healthcare of Boardman.
She was born Jan. 30, 1942, in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of the late Paul and Lorene Niece O’Neil. She graduated from Canfield High School, and together with her husband, dedicated her life to raising her family.
Pauline was a devoted member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the choir and as church secretary. She also worked at Grace Lutheran Church as a secretary until her retirement. Her faith was the foundation of her life and she found great joy in being an active part of her church community.
She was a gifted and imaginative individual with a deep love for creativity. She owned a ceramic shop, where she shared her passion for art with others, and found joy in adult coloring as a peaceful and expressive hobby. She also had a special appreciation for collecting spoons, treasuring each one as a meaningful keepsake.
Pauline leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Randy Williams of Youngstown and Cheri (Richard) Rodman of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Alyssa (Brandon) Wirtz, Austin (Erica) Day, Amanda (Joe) Sass, Tyler (Corey) Rodman and Zachary (Gabrielle Taylor) Rodman; her great-grandchildren, Alexander, Asher, Cora, Bridger, Callan, Cecilia, Remi and Hayes; two sisters, Janet (Leonard) Ruel of Wisconsin and Louise Cook of Boardman; her brother, Paul (Marilyn) O’Neil of Berlin Center; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas E. Williams Jr.; and a great-grandchild, Weston.
Friends and family will be received 4 to 5:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 471 Mathews Road, Boardman, followed immediately by a funeral service beginning at 6 p.m., celebrated by Pastor Mark Bell.
She will be laid to rest with her husband in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions be made to Buckeye Hospice, 3379 S. Main St., Mineral Ridge, OH 44440, or to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in her memory.
