Rita Sabella 1928-2025

Rita was born May 2, 1928, to Joseph and Beldina Sabella. She was a graduate of East High School, worked at General Electric for 35 years and retired in 1995.

Rita enjoyed spending her free time playing bingo, taking trips to area casinos, and also listening to the Cleveland Indians and Tom Hamilton on the radio whenever she could.

Rita is survived by her loving sisters, Annebelle Capritta of Wilmington, Delaware, and Gloria Drapcho of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Dominic; and sisters, Angeline and Mary.

A private Mass will be held by the family at St. Christine Church, where Rita was a parishioner.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Addison of Cornersburg Assisted Living for the exceptional care that they gave her the last six years.

Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home handled all of the arrangements for the family.
