Carol J. Senvisky 1946-2025

AUSTINTOWN — Carol J. Senvisky, 78, of Austintown and Sarasota, Florida, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, March 15, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born Nov. 12, 1946, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Willett Goldner. She was a lifelong resident of Austintown and a proud graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Class of 1964.

Carol devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. After her children were grown, she found fulfillment working at Stambaugh Thompson and later with State Farm Insurance.

A faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Carol’s faith was central to her life. She was passionate about Fitch football and served as the president of the booster club for many years, supporting her children and their teammates with unwavering dedication and pride.

Carol found joy in beach vacations, creating cherished memories with her family by the ocean. Her greatest love, however, was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory, her three children, Kenneth F. (Christina) Senvisky Jr. of North Royalton, Shelly (Donnie) Burns of Austintown and Brian (Christy) Senvisky of Austintown; her 10 grandchildren, Frank Senvisky, Michael Senvisky (Jordan), Kaylee Senvisky, Basil Jones III, Kenzie Chine, Matthew Senvisky, Ashlee Senvisky, Kayla Jones, Riley Burns and Madison Chine; two great-grandchildren, Sara and Logan; and her brother, Robert Goldner of Austintown.

Her husband of 47 years, high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Kenneth F. Senvisky Sr., whom she married Nov. 25, 1967, died June 7, 2015.

Family and friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.

Funeral services will begin at 10:15 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at the funeral home, and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4490 Norquest Blvd., Austintown.

Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown, where Carol will be laid to rest beside her husband.

Carol’s legacy of love, faith and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
