David J. Skripac 1968-2025

CANFIELD — David J. Skripac passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 56.
He was born Nov. 6, 1968, in Youngstown. A 1987 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, David went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from The Ohio State University.
After working as a traditional retail pharmacist for several years, he spent the majority of his career as a nuclear pharmacist. After years of hard work, he retired from pharmacy and started his own online sales business.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, David was deeply passionate about his country and engaged actively in political groups, striving to protect the Constitution and advocating for causes close to his heart. He was a proud member of Patriots Stand United and the Mahoning County Election Integrity Committee, where he joined like-minded individuals who shared his passion for protecting our country’s future.
In Dave’s younger years, he spent his free time at the New Middletown Sportsmen Club, enjoying cookouts with family and friends, and spent years going on deer hunting trips in Southern Ohio with family. When his children were younger, he loved coaching and supporting their various sports teams and youthful pursuits.
David found a strong community of friends at Big Arb’s Campground, where he spent the majority of his free time in the summer with his family. He also took pleasure in maintaining his yard and landscaping, along with watching and following Ohio State football.
David is survived by his mother and stepfather, Christine (James) Dobos; his life partner, Tina Robinson, with whom he shared his life for nearly 17 years; his three loving children, Evan Skripac of Columbus, and Nathan and Taylor Skripac of Canfield; his brother, Michael (Sonia) Skripac of Lake Milton; his half siblings, Patrick Skripac and Julie Skripac; his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Randy, Billy and Grace Skripac; and his father, Francis (Kaylynn) Skripac.
David was preceded in death by his stepbrother, Jimmy Dobos.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate David’s life 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m.
