Eva Berardino 1929-2025

HUBBARD — Eva Berardino, 95, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 24, 2025, at Heritage Manor in Youngstown.
Eva was born March 30, 1929, in Youngstown, a daughter of Rocco A. and Mary Gentile Berardino. She lived most of her life in Boardman. She was a 1947 graduate of East High School.
Eva was a beautician and had her own beauty shop for many years. She was too kind to raise her prices and was the best value in town for the great services she provided. She sponsored a bowling league at Camelot Lanes in Boardman called “Eve’s Beauties.”
Eve had many friends and was kind and generous to all. She was well traveled and was globe-trotting before it became fashionable.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Liberty and was a member of The Ladies Group. Eva also was a member of the American Business Women of Mill Creek. She enjoyed golfing and belonged to several golf leagues.
Eva will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family; her sister Elizabeth J. Toman of Hubbard, and many nieces and nephews. Eve hosted every Christmas for her extended family. She made everyone feel welcome. There was always a gift for everyone.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Berardino, Ralph Berardino, Elliott Berardino, John Berardino and sisters, Irene Perry, Lydia Yaniew, Phyllis Koss and Margaret Palko.
