Hilda Ralich, 1930-2025

SALEM — Hilda Ralich, age 95, of Salem, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Salem Regional Medical Center, Salem.
She was born on March 14, 1930, in Kalida, a daughter of the late Henry and Laura Brinkman Grote.
Hilda was a member of St. Jude Roman Catholic Church in Columbiana and had belonged to the church’s Women’s Guild. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Her husband, George Ralich, whom she married on June 15, 1957, preceded her in death on May 19, 2015.
Hilda is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Susan) Ralich of North Canton and Steven Ralich of Walton Hills; daughter, Julie A. Ralich of Salem; two grandchildren, Nicholas Ralich of Miami, Florida, and Alexander Ralich of North Canton. Also surviving is a sister, Sr. Julie Grote of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Richard, Norbert, Raymond, Edwin, Victor and Robert Grote; and by two sisters, Mildred Sarka and Mary Gerdeman.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
The family will again receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, Columbiana, with Father Chad Johnson officiating.
Burial will take place in the Columbiana Cemetery.
