Judith Kinkela 1942-2025

LOWELLVILLE — Judith “Judy” Kinkela, 83, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Hospice of the Valley-Hospice House.
Born Jan. 3, 1942, in Youngstown, a daughter to the late Frank Jr. and Rose Marie Davanzo Kinkela.
Judy was a graduate of Lowellville High School.
She worked as a printer for St. Regis Printing, Standard Slag, and lastly, Bank One, from where she retired. Never one to sit still, Judy took on a position for Gorant Chocolatier, working in the molding department.
She was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Ladies Society and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She dedicated many hours in volunteering making pirogies at St. Joseph, assisting in the kitchen for bingo at Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church and serving food at the local food bank.
In her spare time, she enjoyed planting and caring for her flower garden and playing bocce. She was always willing to “try everything once,” from skiing to bowling and everything in between. Her greatest memories are her travel experiences with her family and friends in the United States and Italy.
Above all, Judy cherished her moments of being a loving sister and aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
