Judith McGinnis 1940-2025

Judy was born March 2, 1940, in Marienville, Pa., a daughter of Fredrick Shaw and Elizabeth Geneieve Cunningham Haslett. A Monaca, Pa., high school graduate, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She married Leonard “Lenny” McGinnis on March 26, 1959.

Judy leaves to cherish her precious memory, her sons, James McGinnis of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Thomas (Nora) McGinnis of Chagrin Falls; and grandchildren, Alec, Emily and Ben.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lenny, who passed away June 3, 2022; and her siblings, Betsy Jean Labasik (David), William Frederick Haslett (Barbara), Thomas Earl Haslett and Nancy Sophia Figley (Joseph).

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market St., North Lima.

The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Judy’s memory to the Beaver Township Fire and EMS Department, 601 W. South Range Road, North Lima, OH 44452, www.beavertwp-oh.gov/fire-ems.
