Kiki Dimitriou 1933-2025

WARREN — Kiki Dimitriou, 91, fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2025, with her loving family by her side.
Also known as Kitsa or Kaye to her family and friends, she was born on Dec. 14, 1933, in Warren, to George and Iphigenia Martakis Zymaris.
Kiki and her brother started working at an early age after the loss of their father. She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in June 1952 and went on to do clerical work at the Ohio State Highway Patrol, GM Lordstown car assembly plant and for Packard Electric, from where she retired in 1992.
Kiki married the love of her life, John, on July 25, 1971. They were married for 25 years until his passing on Aug. 1, 1996.
Attending church was important to Kiki. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Youngstown, where she was a member of both church choirs for 60 years. Kiki loved music and animals, and she enjoyed crafting and flower gardening. She was kind and loving and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Jennice Zymaris, Kimberly (David) Greene, Kathy (Keith) Cramer, Stacey (Brett) Roberts, Dean (Chrissy) Jickess, Dr. George (Dr. Maria Tranto) Dimitriou, Dr. Francine (Joe) Artiste; and many great-nieces and -nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lynne Zymaris; and godson, Joey Brezinski.
Besides her parents, Kiki was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Zymaris; and sisters and brothers-in-law, James and Ann Jickess, and Andrew and Mary Dimitriou.
Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Kiki 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High St. NE, Warren, OH 44481.
A funeral service will follow 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with Fr. Constantine Valantasis presiding.
Burial will be in Belmont Park Cemetery.
