Lucinda E. Lantz 1950-2025

YOUNGSTOWN — Lucinda Elizabeth Lantz, 74, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 13, 2025, in Poland, surrounded by her beloved family.
Born July 16, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, Lucinda’s life was a remarkable tapestry woven with love, laughter and unforgettable memories.
She was a unique mother who embraced the joys of life, always showering her children with unwavering affection. Her daughters, Coetta (Todd) Chilton and Erica Lantz, alongside her son, David (Danielle) Lantz, were lucky to have her as their guiding light.
Lucinda had an extraordinary way of nurturing and uplifting those around her, instilling in them the values of kindness and love. Her heart swelled with pride and joy for her grandchildren, Mariah, Mason, Ava and Bella, whom she adored more than life itself. She created a bond with each of them that will forever resonate in their hearts.
She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Walter Self.
Lucinda found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to embark on trips to Goodwill and Walmart, where even the most mundane errands turned into delightful adventures. Her vibrant spirit was matched only by her love for her tractor, which became a symbol of her adventurous nature.
Though Lucinda will be deeply missed, her legacy of love will continue to shine through her surviving family.
Reunited now with her parents, Walter Self and Lucille M. Sears Self, Lucinda’s spirit will be cherished in the hearts of all who had the fortune of knowing her.
There will be no services for Lucinda at this time.
Arrangements were handled by Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
