Robert W. Davis 1940-2025

Bob was born Dec. 24, 1940, in Youngstown, to parents Robert Davis and Vera Grindle Davis. He was a graduate of Chaney High School, Class of 1958, and was in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963, receiving honorable discharge.

He married the love of his life, Judy Kulik, on Sept 7, 1963, and together they raised two children.

He achieved his bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and worked in the steel industry for many years. He rounded out his working years at Boardman Township as a payroll clerk.

He was a member of Western Reserve United Methodist Church and enjoyed landscaping / gardening, old cars, playing golf, and socializing with friends and family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

He is survived by a son, Robert A. Davis of Youngstown; a daughter, Jill Davis of Youngstown; a sister, Kathy Davis Fedorchak of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Kulik Kale of Warren, Ann Kulik Reda of Youngstown and Andrea Kulik Hrycyk of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, with condolences 10 to 11 a.m. and a reception immediately following the service.

Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home handled all of the arrangements for the family.
