HUBBARD — Timothy T. Miller, 72, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, following an extended illness, in the presence of his beloved family.
Tim will fondly be remembered for his smile, his kindness, his love of people, his patience and his easy-going personality.
His parents, Gerald and Laverne Tate Miller, gave birth to Tim on Dec. 16, 1952, in Sharon, Pa. As a lifelong resident of Hubbard, Tim graduated from Hubbard High School in 1970, where he continued to raise his family.
Tim’s career spanned 21 years at Stivers Chevrolet as a parts manager and 13 additional years at Packard Electric as a maintenance planner. Tim retired successfully from Packard Electric in 2019.
As a devout Catholic, Tim cherished opportunities to serve his church. Tim was a member of Knights of Columbus and was active at St. Patrick Parish, Hubbard, in his service as a Eucharistic minister, through volunteering in Christ Renews Its Parish, as a marriage preparation advisor, and a volunteer and annual festival worker.
Tim enjoyed various life pursuits such as attending car shows, as he was a car enthusiast, with his son, Tim; traveling with his wife, Carol, to Las Vegas and Aruba; and the simple joys of grilling and golfing. Devotion to his family was Tim’s priority, especially spending time with his only grandchild, Rocco, who was the apple of his eye, and his furry granddog, Parker. Tim especially enjoyed rooting for his favorite sports teams every season, including the Cleveland Browns, Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame.
Tim leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of over 49 years, Carol Marcovecchio Miller, whom he married at St. Lucy Church on July 5, 1975; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Brian and Jennifer Miller of Hubbard; and grandson, Rocco Anthony Miller. Additional family grieving Tim include sister-in-law, Joy (Jim) Bucci of Poland; two nieces, JoEllen (George) Mrofchak and Jennifer (Vince) Pontillo; and his great-nieces, Angelina Mrofchak and twins, Serafina and Enzo Pontillo; along with his cousins and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, James Rocco Bucci; and his cousins, Chuck, Ruth and Helen Burwig, who helped raise him.
