William G. Hvizdak 1947-2025

Mr. Hvizdak was born in Youngstown, a son of the late William C. and Concetta LaVolpe Hvizdak, and graduated from Mohawk High School in 1965.

Bill served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

His career of hard work culminated with owning Record Data Inc. After retirement, he split time in Pennsylvania with winters in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Bill’s life enjoyments included family, cars, cooking / food, extensive traveling and watching old Westerns.

Bill is survived by four brothers, Dennis Hvizdak (Karen) of Cartersville, Georgia, Richard Hvizdak of Pittsburgh, Pa., Perry Hvizdak of Edinburg, Pa., and Rodney Hvizdak (Renee) of Woodstock, Georgia; eight nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces and -nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his caring wife, Lee Ann D’Arcy Hvizdak; a brother, John Hvizdak; and a niece, Katherine “Katie” Hvizdak.

Per Bill’s wishes, the family held a private graveside service at St. James Cemetery, Villa Maria, Pa.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle, Pa.
