Alan Hauck 1945-2025

NORTH JACKSON — Alan Hauck passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 79.
He was born Dec. 29, 1945, in Cleveland, a son of Joseph and Marie Efta.
Alan was a graduate of Poland Seminary High School. He dedicated many years of his career to GM Lordstown. He had a deep appreciation for the automotive world, which was evident in his enthusiasm for attending car shows and his active membership in the Corvette Club.
A fervent fan of both the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State University Buckeyes, Alan enjoyed sharing the excitement of game days with family and friends. However, the greatest joy of his life came from the time spent with his family and friends. He created a legacy of love and laughter that will forever resonate in their hearts.
Alan is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Gondel Hauck, whom he married July 27, 1968; his two children, Kristen Brestelli of Boardman and Tommy (Alphia) Hauck of Bristolville; two grandchildren, Karlie and Karter Brestelli; four step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Carpenter, Nicholas Philhower, Sara Dodrill and Nathan Philhower; and a sister, Natalie (Dennis) Box of Tyler, Texas.
Besides his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Paul Brestelli.
Per Alan’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
