Catherine M. Hendricks 1941-2025

She was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Warren, to the late George Gray and Pearl Smith.

Catherine was a graduate from high school in Vienna and went on to own and operate the Dairy Queen in North Jackson for 30 years.

Catherine was a bright light in this world who enjoyed bird watching, tending to her flower garden and puzzles, but the most important thing in her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Catherine leaves behind to carry on her memory, her children, Tim (Debbie) Hendricks, Karen Teets and Sherri (Tim) Huntley; her siblings, Helen Ruth McKenzie, Janet Larson and Georgia Haynie; her grandchildren, Tim Hendricks, Gabriel Hendricks, Stephanie (Daniel) Bird, Erika (Daniel) Teets-Johnson, Kevin Teets, Carson Teets, Amanda Phillips and Shayne Young; as well as six great-grandchildren.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Gray.

Family and friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025, at Vienna United Methodist Church, with a service to immediately follow.

Due to allergies, the family requests no flowers be sent, and for those attending, please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the church in Catherine’s name.
