Connie Daniels 1941-2025

Connie was an avid roller skater, which included competition at Austintown Skate

Center and Cortland Roller Rink. In fact, she met her husband at the Unity

Rollerena in 1968. Connie worked at the Lake Middle School Cafeteria in Hartville,

and she was a Lawson’s sales clerk.

For the last 41 years, Connie and Dick lived in Lake Milton, which had been a

family summer home since 1941.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Adelaide Hoffman Horn;

husband of 52 years, Richard “Dick” Daniels; a son, Raymond Fox; a grandson,

Case Edward Phillips; her brother, Tom Horn; and sister-in-law, Winnie Horn.

Connie is survived by six children, Kathy Fox Dowda, Ron Fox, Karen Fox Grippa, Kay Fox, state Rep. John “Jack” Daniels and Sidney Neeley. The family included three stepsons, Stephen Daniels, Keith Daniels and Larry Daniels. Most of the large blended family lived together in Beaver Falls, Pa., then Hartville. She also is blessed with 20 surviving grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A private family gathering is being planned for a later date to honor this lovely lady’s memory.

The family requests no flowers. Please feed the birds that Connie enjoyed watching.
