Kenneth L. Goss 1942-2025

Known as a man who “never met a stranger,” Ken was born Dec. 9, 1942, in Meadville, Pa., to Robert and Margaret Goss.

Ken graduated from Meadville High School in 1961, entered the United States Navy Air Corps and served in the Far East Division for four years. Returning home, he studied at Youngstown State University.

Ken worked as a credit manager for 30 years, the last 14 at Metropolitan Savings and Loan, resigning in 1995 to go into the mission field.

Ken graduated from Logos Bible College with Vision Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in theology in 1992. He and his wife worked in inner-city ministry for seven years and served as foster parents to special needs babies. In 1995, Ken and his wife went to China to serve in ministries for 20 years.

Ken is known for his love for Jesus Christ, his love for his family, the mission field and the least among us.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents, Robert and Margaret Goss; his sister, Karen; and his infant daughter, Kathleen Elizabeth.

He leaves behind his beloved son, Kenneth B Goss; and four grandchildren, Kaitlin Elizabeth, Kenneth Robert, Thomas Joseph and Taylor Lynn Goss; sister, Debbie (Rodney) Pratt; and brother, Robert (Shirley) Goss.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Trinity Fellowship Church, 4749 South Ave., Boardman.
