Michael M. Ruberto 1973-2025

CANFIELD — Michael Melvin Ruberto, 51, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday, March 30, 2025, surrounded by family.
He was born Aug. 7, 1973, in Youngstown, a son of Steven Ruberto and the former Karen Good Brown.
A graduate of Western Reserve High School, Michael showcased his athleticism on the baseball and football fields.
His career as a restoration maintenance worker exemplified his hands-on approach to life. Michael had a keen interest in working with his hands, often spending hours restoring cars and tending to his yard.
Michael was known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews, imparting valuable lessons to them and taking great pride in their achievements.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his sisters, Heather (James) Kunka of Virginia and Denise (Charles) Hostetter of Canfield; nieces and nephews, Brennen Kunka, Dr. Karina (John Lyons) Kunka, Julie Hostetter and Chase Hostetter.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m., at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave.
