Vivian Watson 1932-2025

Born Feb. 10, 1932, in Youngstown, to William and Alberta Brown Watson, she attended East High School and worked at Servi-Clean Industries. She was a proud homemaker who deeply loved her family.

Vivian enjoyed travel, casinos, shopping, cooking and her favorite soaps, “The Young and the Restless” and “General Hospital.” She was a longtime Cleveland Cavaliers fan.

She is survived by her son, Vincent S. (Belinda) Thomas; daughter-in-law, Gina Watson; grandchildren, Tia Watson, Ray (Sabrina) Watson Jr., Ryan (Nicci) Watson, Vincent Thomas Jr., Carlton Watson, Anthony Young and Porsha Corley; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Larry (Carol), Ray and Vicky; brothers, Thomas, Thomas C., William and Amos; and sisters, Beatrice, Clara and Grace.

Services will begin with a wake at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Rising Star Baptist Church, Youngstown, followed by a service at 10 a.m.
