DEAR EDITOR:

I would like to thank you for your article in the weekend paper. It was about people being offended by every little thing, but it doesn’t make them right just because they’re offended.

Why can’t people just accept that others don’t always have the same point of view as they do? This hatred of others who don’t agree with you is so foolish and childish. We should be able to get along with our friends, neighbors and even family members we disagree with.

I think too many people don’t think for themselves and just listen to the pundits they watch on television. The next time you want to speak out on a subject, do a little research first. Even if you don’t agree, at least hope our country succeeds.
