BOYS BASKETBALL

Crestview 51, Southeast 45 — The Rebels got out to an early lead and didn’t falter to best the Pirates. Jonathan Best recorded 17 points, Evan Neff added 13 points and Tanner Guy lent 10 points to lead Crestview. Southeast statistics were not submitted.

Heartland Christian 75, Southern 53 — A crushing first half propelled the Lions to the big win over the Indians. The offensive attack for Heartland Christian was led by Isaiah Matthews with 18 points behind four made three pointers, Collin Kalaher with 16 points on a trio of triples and Brody Conaway with 15 points. In the loss, Braxton Sloan drilled seven shots from deep to lead all scorers with 30 points for Southern.

Campbell 89, Sebring 38 — No statistics for either team were submitted.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Green 64, Howland 42 — The Bulldogs jumped ahead early and kept their foot on the gas to top the Tigers. Green’s Jenna Slates led all scorers with 25 points while Meredith Viar added 10. In the loss, Mia Thomas collected 13 points and Mary Moy lent 12 for Howland.

Marlington 50, Salem 46 — Wednesday’s contest came down to the fourth quarter as both the Dukes and Quakers were knotted heading into the final frame. Marlington, however, earned the victory by posting 14 points to Salem’s 10. Leading the charge for Marlington was Bailee Pietz with a team-high 16 points behind three made three pointers, Addy Wittensoldner lent 12 points and was perfect from the charity stripe and the duo of Allie Gill and Zoe Mort tallied 11 points each. In the loss, Reese Davidson-Chuck pulled in a game-high 22 points and Abby Knickerbocker added 12 for Salem.

Mathews 42, Windham 13 — The Mustangs snapped a five-game losing streak Wednesday night with a dominant win over the Bombers. Zoey Brown paced Mathews with 15 points while Rilee Paddock lent 10 points. In the loss, Mackenzi Blockinger led with five points.

Canfield 43, Boardman 35 — The Cardinals improved to 12-1 with a Wednesday night win over the Spartans. Jenna Triveri led the offensive charge for Canfield with 13 points while Aleen Barakat drilled three triples en route to 11 points for the Cardinals. In the loss for Boardman, Mikayla Rivera and Jocelynn Torres tallied 11 and 10 points, respectively.

West Branch 45, Carrollton 31 — No statistics for either team were submitted.

Fitch 60, Harding 53 — No statistics for either team were submitted.
