GIRLS BASKETBALL
Springfield 43, Western Reserve 41 — The Blue Devils tried mounting a comeback but it was too little too late as the Tigers held onto their lead to claim the win. Springfield’s Jameka Brungard led the Tigers with 16 points. In the loss, Isabella Mauro tallied 15 points and Kylee Ramsey added 11 more to lead Western Reserve.
Columbiana 59, East Palestine 3 — The Clippers rolled to a massive win over the Bulldogs to remain unbeaten this season. Annah Clemmer tallied 13 points to lead Columbiana and Evalyn Rapp added 12 in the win. For East Palestine, Jacklyn Ogle scored.
Poland 39, Salem 34 — After the Bulldogs started off strong, the Quakers chipped away at the lead but ultimately came up short as Poland claimed the win. Lucy Harrell tallied 11 points to lead Poland while Kate Harrell was right behind with 10 points. In the loss, Reese Davidson-Chuck scored a game-high 18 points for Salem.
Struthers 45, Lakeview 43 — The Wildcats mounted a comeback to claim the Monday night contest over the Bulldogs, scoring 16 points in the final quarter to earn the win. Gianna Martin’s 14 points led Struthers and Katelyn Kimble added 10 more for the victors. In the loss, Mackenzie Stowe recorded a game-high 15 points for Lakeview.
Grand Valley 53, Windham 13 — From the first quarter on, the Mustangs dominated the Bombers to cruise to a 40-point win. Turk claimed top-scorer status with 18 points, 13 of which came in the first half. In the loss, Kierrah Sanders, Brielle Jones and Skylar Bailey each tallied three points for Windham to lead the Bombers.
Pymatuning Valley 48, Chalker 37 — Twenty-three points in the first quarter set the tone Monday night as the Lakers claimed the win over the Wildcats. Zoey Painter paced Pymatuning Valley with 13 points behind a pair of three-pointers and three field goals, while Kelsie Britton drilled three shots from beyond the arc to on her way to 11 points for the Lakers. For Chalker, Abby Grimm tallied a game-high 15 points in the loss.
Sebring 32, Campbell 27 — At Campbell, the Trojans only had a couple scoring options. Raegan Wynn and Ava Coen each scored 11 points. Red Devils statistics were submitted.

Brookfield 66, Garfield 63 — The Warriors mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter to earn the three-point win over the G-Men. Blake Hammond boomed for 30 points for Brookfield to lead all scorers while Cody Davidson added 16 more for the Warriors. Preston Gedeon clipped five three-pointers on his way to 26 points to pace Garfield. Cade Rock added 12 points for the G-Men in the loss.
Newton Falls 75, Champion 41 — A 27-point second quarter made all the difference in the Tigers’ dominant win over the Golden Flashes. Landon McGregor exploded for 20 points for Newton Falls to lead all scorers, while Dallas Dunlap tallied 11 points behind a trio of triples. Christian Williams also clipped three shots from beyond the arc for Champion to lead the Golden Flashed with 13 points with Damen Wickham and Braylen Braham adding 11 and 10 points, respectively.
